SAIMSI - ANR Project CSOSG (National Research Agency) - 2010-2012
-
The project intends to develop a new software platform for integrating information across individuals in order to detect weak signals or dangerous situations towards citizens security. The platform will aggregate information from diverse sources (existing databases, reports, news, public Internet flows, web 2.0…), media (text, audio), and languages (French, English, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, etc). It will help to distinguish information concerning homonymous people or to attribute a text or a speech to somebody, even if the text or the speech is not signed, based on complementary statistic and ontology based self-learning technologies.
Adaptive Cross lingual and Multisource Tracking of Information in English
Partners : GEOL Semantics, Cassidian, LIP6 (University Pierre et Marie Curie Paris 6)
Expected ROI:
- help to reach a new market in the security and citizen protection domain
- developing a new kind of reasoning engine based on a combination of semantic and statistical algorithms to detect new pertinent information in a knowledge base
