Jean Delahousse - Founder and CEO

As CEO, Jean Delahousse drives the corporate strategy and technological direction for Mondeca. A renowned expert in semantic technologies, ontologies and their application to content organization, Jean is a regular speaker at semantic technology conferences and events worldwide.

Prior to Mondeca, Jean founded BDB Participation, a financial software editor he successfully grew and sold to Line Data in 1999. Jean has also held a variety of technical and management roles at Andersen Consulting, the Paris Stock Exchange and Diagram, a financial software company.

Jean is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, a leading French business school.

Peter Meehan - Business Development Director

Peter has over 18 years experience in the software industry in technical, sales, marketing and managerial capacities. Prior to Mondeca he was VP of Global Services at eNGENUITY Technologies Inc, a Canadian visual and simulation software provider to the aerospace and defense markets. He was responsible for introducing a profit focused culture in the services department, raising the gross margin level to 40% in his first year in charge. He joined eNGENUITY following their acquisition of LOOX Software, a French provider of visualization components for the telecom, transportation and defense markets, where he was CEO of their US subsidiary. As CEO, Peter brought US revenues from near-zero to the multi-million dollar level. He began his career developing user interface software for large telecom, energy and transportation accounts in France. Peter is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

Bernard Vatant - Knowledge Engineering Consultant

Bernard heads up Mondeca's knowledge engineering practice. Previously a lecturer in mathematics, Bernard rose to prominence through his participation in several semantic technology standardization committees in the Topic Maps and Semantic Web areas. He was previously Chairman of the OASIS Published Subject standardization working group and a member of the Web-Ontology working group at the W3C, which was responsible for the specification of the Ontology Web Language (OWL).
