Service clients benefit from Mondeca's extensive experience in successful operational product installations for a variety of large organizations. Mondeca services can be billed based on time and materials or based on a fixed-cost estimate for a project.
Training
Training on the subjects of the Semantic Web, Open Data, and taxonomy standards
- Introduction to the semantic web languages: RDF, OWL, Sparql, and SKOS.
- Practical training in modeling and data migration, based on customer business case.
- Advanced training on demand (e.g., complex data, application of inference rules).
Training specific to Mondeca’s products
Mondeca consultants offer courses for ITM and CA Manager users as well as for developers that wish to create applications using the ITM Java and Web Service APIs. Mondeca also helps its clients to define the complex architecture of larger solutions, including the choice of technology components and the methods for their integration.
Knowledge engineering
Ontology is an effective tool for modelling domain knowledge. However, significant expertise is required to optimize its flexibility and performance. Mondeca's knowledge engineering consultants analyse client business requirements and translate them into the optimal ontology for deployment with ITM:
- Analysis in collaboration with the client's business domain experts : business objects, legacy vocabularies and data.
- Sound modeling of the business objects and data, based on standard languages and proven methods and practices of knowledge representation.
- Tuning of models to best meet the functional requirements of the target system.
- Re-using on-the-shelf and standard models when available, extending and customizing as needed.
Legacy data migration
Green field operations are a rarity in information technology. There usually exists a substantial amount of legacy content, such as database dumps, lists of vocabulary terms, or glossaries, that is available in diverse formats such as ASCII or XML. This content needs to be migrated to the new semantic information system in order to capitalize on the enterprise information assets.
Mondeca consultants are experts in transforming existing content for reuse within semantic applications. Mondeca offers an ever-growing toolkit supporting quick and accurate migration of legacy data and vocabularies, whatever their original format (CSV, data base, XML …) into standard semantic formats allowing their full integration in Mondeca’s technology stack, and easy reuse by other semantic applications.

Technical support is available for customers with valid maintenance contracts. Support is provided via email, phone, and remote login from 9am to 6pm, Central European time. Support in other time zones is available via our local distributors.
